Drop-in visits are similar to pet sitting services in that they occur in the pet’s home.  The main difference is duration.  A drop-in visit is usually much shorter than a pet sitting visit and more limited in scope.  For example, a 10-minute drop-in visit would provide just enough time for a potty break and to check the dog’s water.   For a longer visit that covered food, water replenishment, medications, litterbox cleaning, mail pickup, plant watering, etc. you would want to schedule a 20-30 minute pet visit.
